- Hmm, from my point of view there's just a competency problem here. AWeb has
- been started only late last year, a long time after AMosaic and IBrowse
- alpha's and beta's were out. So far AWeb has come along far more than
- either of the former too. Now take into account that AWeb is just being
- developed by _one_ programmer compared to the team of IBrowse. To me that
- just says how good that one programmer is. Or how dedicated. I would like
- to remind everyone how long MicroSoft has spent developing Windows and how
- much money and manpower they threw at it. It still sucks compared to AmigaOS
- in many areas, even though that has been the work of just a handful of
- dedicated people. Or why the Amiga is still alive in spite of giant PR budgets
- telling people there's really only MS out there.
-
- Dedication and competency.
-
- Also, you can have caches on HD or in RAM for all three programs, it's a
- matter of setting preferences. If IBrowse is prone to crashing while writing
- to HD it's because it's not stable enough (yet).
